SUNDAY ~ Ruth Ziolkowski: “Dyslexia in a Digital World”
Ruth Ziolkowski is President of Don Johnston Incorporated, an assistive technology company focusing on reading and writing supports with technology. She has worked with advisory boards related to Accessible Instructional Materials and is currently serving on the Assistive Technology Industry Board. Ruth is an Occupational Therapist, who has been influenced most by those closest to her with dyslexia. They have been able to teach her how to really learn.

MONDAY ~ Jeanne Wanzek, Ph.D: “Understanding Dyslexia”
Dr. Wanzek is an associate professor at Florida State University and on the research faculty at the Florida Center for Reading Research. She is a former special educator and elementary teacher. Dr. Wanzek conducts research examining effective reading instruction and intervention. Her focus is on prevention and remediation for students with reading difficulties and disabilities. Dr. Wanzek has more than 60 publications and many national and international presentations in the areas of early reading, learning disabilities, and adolescent reading intervention. In addition, she has worked with several elementary and secondary schools conducting research to improve core classroom instruction and reading intervention implementation.
